Pete Philley has been a deputy prosecuting attorney for Kitsap and Pierce Counties for over twenty years, specializing in land use law. He was also the first attorney member of the Central Puget Sound Growth Management Hearings Board. Prior to becoming an attorney, he was a ranger with the National Park Service and director of public relations at a Rocky Mountain ski resort. He has a BA from Edinboro University, an MS from the University of Montana and a JD from the University of Puget Sound. In his spare time, he coaches girls high school basketball at Charles Wright Academy.
