Jane Banyard was appointed to the Hydraulic Appeals Board as the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife representative in June 1999. She has worked as a biologist for the Department for over 15 years in several capacities, including fisheries management and environmental review. She currently works on environmental policy issues for the Director's Office as the agency Endangered Species Act Policy Coordinator. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Western Washington University and two years of graduate work in Fisheries Science at the University of Washington.
